Rust's Flying Service needs the accurate weight of each guest. This is imperative for airplane safety and loading. If an individual does not want to give an individual weight, weights may be combined but need to be accurate.

Cancellation

A 50% refund is available with 14 days or more advance notice. No refunds will be given less than 14 days before departure. Cancellation by Rust's due to weather will be refunded 100% of price paid. We strongly recommend travel insurance for unforeseen circumstances that may cause last minute cancellations.

Rust's Flying Service is an air taxi only. We are not guides. Rust's is not responsible or liable for any loss, damage or injury to any person while they are involved in any activities in the outdoors, including but not limited to boating, fishing, climbing, skiing, camping, trekking and/ or hiking. In remote locations there are no medical facilities or services available. Additionally we are not responsible or liable for any cancellations, expenses or delays incurred as a result of conditions over which we have no control. Rust's Flying Service reserves the right to withdraw and/or cancel any excursion offered at any time and make changes and alterations in itinerary as may be found necessary for safety.

Other Information

Please be prepared to take lots of pictures, charge up the batteries, and have extra film and/or storage space on your camera.  You may bring a light daypack with you. There is free although limited parking at the Rust Office. You will need to leave your car keys with the office.  Rust’s also picks up from major hotels.  You are welcome to leave baggage at the Rust Flying Service office at no additional charge.

By ADA standards, none of our trips are accessible. We can often accommodate people depending on the nature of their disability. Our vans do not have wheelchair lifts.

Alaska’s weather can change dramatically.  A sunny and warm day in Anchorage can turn windy, rainy and cold in the National Park. Please dress appropriately.  This includes layering your clothing, wearing comfortable shoes, and bringing rain gear.  The lodge is in a remote area accessible only by plane so many of the common comforts such as flush toilets and running water are not available.  Please be aware that medical care is not readily available. Views of pristine wilderness compensate for leaving “civilization” behind.

Prices and taxes may change without notice; trip length may vary depending on weather conditions and type of plane.
